Mission The mission of the Apostleship of Prayer is to encourage Christians to make a daily offering of themselves to the Lord for the coming of God's Kingdom and for the Holy Father's monthly intentions. This habit of prayer develops an Eucharistic spirituality of solidarity with the body of Christ and loving service to others. Nourishing this spiritual program is the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. |
Testimonies Here is just one among several testimonies. Mr. Edem Duke, a member of the Apostleship of Prayer was critically ill and was to be operated upon, yet he simultaneously had an acute high blood pressure that defied medication. Subsequently, he collapsed along his corridor and had a stroke which got him bed-ridden and paralyzed. Our members organized a nine-day Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in his house using the Sacred Heart badge dipping it in Holy Water and getting the sick man to drink the water everyday during the prayers.On the third day, the man who had equally lost his voice to the protracted illness, could now speak faintly. The speech improved considerably on the fourth day and he was able to sit up without aid.
